Writing with a feather and quill.

The girls have been fascinated with the idea of using a feather as a writing utensil.  They've also tried creating their own inks using various weird concoctions.  We found a neat feather & quill set at the Arch Museum gift shop and decided we needed to try the "real" deal.  I'm pretty happy and thankful that ball point pens and mechanical pencils are so readily available as writing with a feather or the quill just seems like it could get a bit messy!
