Ever since we got back from Hawaii this has been a frequent, almost daily, view:

That's a big huge gargantuan stockpot filled with bubbling maple sap (collected from the three trees we tapped earlier).  So far we've gotten two quarts of syrup plus a little more on the way.  It looks like maple sap collecting is coming to a close though.  What a fun learning experience for the entire family!
