I'm determined to hit as many state parks in our local area this year since we bought the annual state park pass....

We had a lovely picnic lunch in the park AND this particular state park also came fully loaded with a PLAYGROUND! Woo Hoo!!! Happy girls and Happy Mommy! We also did a few short hikes....and then got ice cream in Prairie du Chien. Yum!

Annika needs to come over to our house! We have tons of these baby frogs in our backyard by our pond! We mistake them for lumps of dirt! We have to be careful to not step on them! They are sooooo cute! Esp their skinny little arms!
What great little hikers!!! I'm glad they are getting this practice in.
And that part really is one of the nicer ones in our area!!!

I've been to the group camp several times but why don't I remember those trails? They're beautiful!
