Super easy- 1 part granulated sugar to 4 parts water; dissolve the sugar into the water over heat (stove) and let cool completely. Do NOT add food dye. Do make sure the sugar water is completely cool before filling your feeder.
Are you still flooded with hummingbird visitors to your feeders? We still just have a few here and there. Our kids are always looking for little toads around here too. They never have to look very long...
