Next Stop: Bonkersville
Ding. Ding.
Next train heading to Looney Land.
Care to join me?
I got a notice in the mail yesterday about an overdue book from our local library. A book I thought I'd taken back weeks ago. (I usually have them out for one week)
I searched this house and I can't find it. (I have always kept library books separate from the rest of our books lest a problem should arise...like this one!) I've searched our cars and still can't find it. Where could that sucker be?
And now I can't find my book bag I always use for library books. (eta: I found the book bag; no books in it)
I feel like I'm losing my mind. in Bonkersville. Looney Land.
Somebody please tell me I'm not losing my mind! I'm such a creature of habit!
ETA: Guess where the book was? Just guess!

.....in the library! (funny place for a book to be!)
*sigh*
I guess the good news is that I cleaned up the play area. Oh...and I haven't gone completely bonkers- YET.

Girl you're NOT loony. We owe $45 about every 3 months to the library. We keep them in business. Of course, I always think the book is in the library (then I move my couch) and swear that it was in the box with the rest of my returns. AND... to make matters worse... the $45 dollar fine is for a book I can get on Amazon for $6. No, I have to pay $15 for the book, $15 for late fees and $15 for letting them process the notice that says that $15 in increments of three adds up to $45. It may just be cheaper for our family to buy our books!
LOVE that illustration on your blog every time I visit! So cute!
Not surprising that it was in the library. That was the first place I thought of. Thanks for helping out the librarian and circulation staff by cleaning for them! I hope they appreciated it.
Christina- I didn't clean up the play area at the library- LOL! I cleaned up our house! Our library is as big as your master bathroom. Seriously. I LOVE it though!
