Our Fairy Village: Updated!

Just wanted to show you the bit of progress we've made on Our Fairy Village.

I've found some logs and branches (and Mark kindly helped drill holes and secure the branches).  I've found most of my toadstool mushroom collection (not all incorporated yet).  Found my lovely rocks and other miscellaneous items.

Updated but not finished....

Annika decided that this cottage will be Flora's Cottage.  I'll have to tell you all about Flora some other time!

I bought glass marbles (with a flat side) to create a creek/pond.  How can I make this better?

Annika said her favorite house (from the ones she painted) is the one with the green roof.

I bought this little doll house door at Hobby Lobby.  I haven't figure out a good way to incorporate it.  Any ideas?

I plan on hanging something from the clothesline/tiny clothespins I hung between the branches.

My felt owl is keeping watch over the fairies.  You know- like a body guard.  :-)

What I'd still like to do:

1. Create signs for all the cottages.
2. Make more mushrooms out of oven-hardening clay and some made with plastic egg halves (courtesy of the Easter Bunny) covered with aluminum foil (we made these last year...trying to find the link!).
3. Arrange my natural materials in a more natural or organic fashion.
4. Trying to decide if I should replace the green felt with moss.  It'd be rather mossy messy with a bunch of moss!
5. Trying to find the tiny wishing well I thought we had.

Please tell me- what do you think is missing?  What would you do differently?

It looks so fun. I bet the girls love to see what you add to it every day! I especially like the clothesline and clothespins:)
I think the blue stones make a beautiful stream!

This is so adorable. I love that it is right there in your living room! A great way to keep it being played with. Love the clothespins and clothesline idea.
You could get some little wooden peg people that your girls could paint and add.
A small bird nest up on the log might also be neat.
