We love {craft in a box}
Great way to spend a morning:
Doesn't that look like a happy girl? Annika got a paint-your-own tea set birthday gift from her Grandparents in Michigan. A really wonderful thing to do on a I-can't-believe-it's-this-hot-and-sticky-and-there-are-mosquitoes-ready-to-attack-outside kind of day!
Thank goodness for these Ikea art smocks!
A few years ago I realized that those dry erase markers do NOT wash out of clothing (oh what a sad day that was! It was a Hanna Andersson dress too...sigh). Ava drew Mocha (our yellow lab), some mountains, flowers, a house and a few other things....
Annika's tea set (it needed to dry for 24 hours and then be baked in the oven for about an hour; the box states that even after baking the set is for decorative purposes only).
What are your favorite craft projects to do with school-age kids?

Wow...looks like a lot of fun!!
