Winter Camping
Ava has been talking about camping a LOT.
Our camping trips last summer made a HUGE impression on her. Let's see- there was Glenn Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon and Bayfield, WI. Did I miss any?
She even asked for a sleeping bag for Christmas since Annika had one and she didn't. Oma, Uroma and Uropa got her the sweetest sleeping bag for little girlies. (and now it's Annika's turn to be jealous).
The girls asked if they could go camping ...BUT how do you manage that in minus umpteen degree weather with lots of snow and a nasty wind?
You make an indoor tent! (smacking head...why didn't I think of that one before this?)
Mark hung a large sheet from Annika's bed and loosely fastened it to her bookshelf and Wa-La- we have The Tent.
We let Ava sleep with Annika in their Tent on Friday and Saturday nights. They LOVED it! They were really very good...the quiet chattering soon fell silent.
