a few photos of Guinness
I'm searching for photos of Guinness to share with you. Funny... before the days of digital cameras (and babies) we just didn't take many photos. And well.... once babies came along the photos were of them and not of our dogs.
So...here are some cute photos of Guinness when we first got him.
1996-
Mark and I were in Oklahoma for his sister's wedding when we got the news that a labrador puppy was available. The breeder was a family friend. We honestly weren't planning on getting a second dog but we after we saw him we knew we had to have him. He was a litter of ONE. He was four weeks old and BIG. Being a litter of one will do that. AND he was so stinkin' cute!
I'm not sure if you know this but at that time airlines wouldn't allow you to take a dog less than 8 weeks on board. We fudged his birthdate a little bit and brought him home anyway. shhh...
On our way home to Anchorage we did a quick stop in Washington so that he could meet my Mama.
Moofie (our oldest dog) and Guinness got along like peanut butter & jelly.
Guinness was a complete and total Blockhead. I'll explain more about that later....

Hugs, hugs, hugs.
You guys, I'm so sorry.
I remember that satiny black baby. We'll miss you, old boy.
What a doll he was!! Amy S. (I notice that you have another "Amy" posting friend;)
So flippin cute! And I love the name! Many a year ago, my neighbors had a dog named Lager. He was in love with a goat.
Oh, zoiks! I didn't see the post below-I'm So SoRRY about your pups. Many hugs going out to you. It's looks like we was so loved....and adored you all back , I'm sure.
