I see Blue(berries) everywhere I go!

Before we headed home we had one last & very necessary stop to make...





BLUEBERRY PICKING!!!

This is about 20 lbs of blueberries!

Anybody who has ever been to Michigan this time of year NEEDS to go blueberry picking. They're better than candy. Really! (okay, maybe not better than chocolate but you get what I'm saying, right?)



We had a bright, sunny & not too hot day plus miles of blueberry bushes that were overflowing with sweet blueberries just screaming "Pick ME! Pick ME!"



We've always wondered why they don't have a scale to weigh people before and after they go blueberry picking. I'm certainly glad they don't!



Annika- the berry picking pro.Ava- the not-yet berry picking pro...she mostly stuffed her mouth full of berries. I'm not complaining though!


Mark with Gregory, Annika and a cranky Ava. Perhaps she's sad because we're going to have to leave the blueberry patch soon.
