Ava's Artwork

Since Annika is in school all day Ava and I try to do art projects together. No Time for Flash Cards is an awesome blog with tons of craft projects (along with relevant songs and books) for little ones.

I let Ava pick out a craft project from the No Time for Flash Cards blog...and she picked out this acorn project. It was easy to do and fast- both great when dealing with a toddler/preschooler.

Nearly finished acorn- it still needs to be cut out once it has dried.

I found a package of pastels (I think that's what they're called) and they're so nice for Ava to color with. I drew hearts for her to color in...She did a very good job!

This is another picture Ava colored using the pastels. She said that she was going to give this drawing to her Music Together teacher. Don't you just LOVE the bunny slippers? She put them on herself!
