Strawberry Season!
It's STRAWBERRY SEASON!
It's time to crank out yummy freezer strawberry jam (especially when it's made with the pectin that uses less sugar), strawberry rhubarb pie, strawberry ice cream, strawberry shortcake...
And just plain ol' strawberries!
Nothing like having hands, faces and clothing stained RED. I hope it washes out! Anybody know of a good stain remover????
Annika was a huge help this year....she really picked a lot of berries! Both girls managed to get more in their buckets than in their tummies this year.

We had a blast this afternoon picking berries at a local farm. I could see a weather front coming close...but I just had to pick some of those berries before the rains came! Berry picking is such a fun activity for the girls...it was a great after school, after dinner activity. I highly recommend it!Together we managed to pick 16 pounds of strawberries (in one hour)!
So...seriously...does anybody have any recommendations on stain removers for clothing??????
When Miles has gotten covered in strawberries, it's just come right out with a little Spray-n-Wash and a regular cold cycle through the washing machine.
Cute pictures, cute girls. But the burning question is HOW IN THE WORLD did you bend and stoop to pick strawberries just 2 days after running a half-marathon?? You are SHE-RA!!!
