Gimme that Tooth!
Do you remember my post wayyyyyyy back in October about Annika's shark teeth? (I mean she had a permanent tooth coming in behind her baby tooth). Well...nearly 2+ months later it's gone! Annika was a very brave girl. She let her Daddy help her finally get it out. The permanent tooth is more or less fully in so it doesn't look like she's got much of a gap. She was extremely excited to finally lose her first tooth! I think most of her friends have all lost at least one by now. I think there's another permanent tooth coming in behind a different baby tooth on her lower jaw. Hmmm...wondering now if we'll need to have a talk with the dentist or just let Mother Nature take her own course.
I'm now wondering what the going rate is for the Tooth Fairy these days?

The going rate in AR is $1... inflation you know. I love the "electric" look on her face as she has her Daddy inspect the vacancy! What cutie! Our BaileyRose didn't lose her first tooth until she was 8! And now that she is 9 she has still only lost 4 teeth altogether! Congrats! And lucky Mark! BaileyRose won't even let me WIGGLE her loose teeth! Maybe Ike will someday!
Our tootfairy also leaves $1 per tooth, although she gave $2 for each of the big front teeth on top.
Egads! Poor kid got robbed. She only got 50 cents.
Way to go Annika! What a big girl to stand so calmly and quitely while your Daddy wiggles that tooth out. I love your new smile!!
Oh, I didn't mention. The tooth fairy at our house never leaves money ... she always seems to leave some kind of small toy, book, or trinket.
The Tooth Fairy gives whatever she has lying around in her catch-all dish! LOL
